Grand depart travel advice

Hello, sorry if there's already a ton stuff posted about this..

I'm thinking of getting the train down to Leeds with my bike on Saturday morning to see the start and then cycle up to Harrogate for the finish..

Will cycling to Harrogate from Leeds be straight forward enough? Are other people on here doing this?

I can look on a map and work out a route, that's no trouble, I just want to know if there's anything I should be aware of that will make this difficult or not worth doing?

My other option is just to get the train to Harrogate for the finish then back again..

any advice would be appreciated..

Thanks for that.. yeah I did think the trains might be a bit tricky..

I could drive down to leeds, find a place to park on the outskirts and do the rest of the day on bike.. maybe a better option or potentially fraught with troubles?
