I've only just read about them,I think for those who are self concious about wearing a helmet maybe a good idea, I see a lot of cycle helmets that look like ordinary hats, I personally don't think they would protect your head like a proper helmet does.'I'll trek two please....!

Add in hideously expensive as well.....that and I can imagine 'scarf' is a lot sweatier than a helmet!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Apparently it goes off when it detects 'an abnormal movement pattern', with sensors detecting changes in velocity and angle.
I'd love to know how often it would go off in the course of a 3 hour ride around my local trails.2007 Felt Q720 (the ratbike)

I have seen airbag body protectors used by horse riders, they use a leash attached to the saddle to activate the CO2 inflation.

No from me though, the repackage cost each time you have a minor off would eat up too much budget, that's for commuting, clearly no good for mtbing anyway.... If you're so concerned about how you look that you'd resort to this instead of a helmet you probably shouldn't be on a bike in the first place. Nobody looks good on a bike. Ever.All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.

I live in Denmark and I can tell you all that there are many many people here to look very good on a bike (and probably off for that matter).0
