Hi there, i was just wondering quickly if my carrera fury 2009 frame would be able to handle the extra stress of the increased travel of the forks (currently 120mm, would increase to 140mm).

    Shandle the stress, probably, but not worth it as it would mess up the geometry

    That frame uses 100-120 as standard, 140 would be a bad idea, it will probably ride like a dog and you risk needing a lot of dental care.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
