Biking in Malta or Mallorca ?

Am thinking of going to either Malta or Mallorca this summer for a week.
I fancy doing some mountain biking there, single track, through villages etc. just for a day.
Has anyone been ? i wont be taking a bike there.
Are there any excursion firms there you can recommend ?

I went to Malta last October and looked at hiring a bike. I didn't in the end, there isn't a lot in the way of hill.0

What was your thoughts on malta for a holiday ? it doesnt get mentioned much as a detination compared to the spanish/greek islands.0 -
It was OK. It was a bit quiet in October; lots of old people migrating south for winter where we stayed (Qawra Palace). St Julian's looked a bit more lively, and Melluia (sp) Bay was nice.
I'd prefer Greece or the Balearics, but mainly because I like the food and the vibe. Based on what I've read Mallorca and Ibiza would be good if you wanted to bike too, road or MTB.0
