New Frame AM/Enduro - Help!

I am in need of changing my frame from my current Trek Scratch. After trying out a 2013 Slash I realised just how short and heavy my current frame is. I will be keeping the majority of my current build which means my new frame nees to be 26" wheels - this currently appears to be a sticking point as there are very few 26 frames available!.. So far i have looked at Evil Uprising, Yeti SB66 and Banshee Rune... My max would be £2k but the lower the better and I want around 160mm travel.I would love to demo a bike but nobody seems to stock any for doing so! Help!

CRC have an SB66 on sale but it comes with a coil
the evil is quite nice
I'd not choose the banshee as its a VPP type but that's just my cup of tea - I'd probably go for the evil out of those three0 -
Yeti every time, absolutely love how efficient and yet plush the switchlink is. Be wary if buying second hand because the bearing kits are cripplingly expensive if you need to replace them (which you will if they are either the first gen bearings or the owner stores it with the seatpost in or hasn't taken out the switchlink orings)0

I won't be buying second hand and it would likely be a 2014 model if go down the yeti route - carbon swingarm saves a few grams of unsprung weight and better bearings / seals... not heard anything about storing with seatpost in, afterall, who takes a bike apart to store it?!0

Yep! They still make a Covert 26 as well as a 27.5 and 29 unlike many other companies
Surf Sales seem to have a good stock of demo bikes and happily send them off to bike shops0 -
