MTB beginner looking for Cannock Chase buddies!

New to cycling - been pottering around the canals and cycle paths in Stoke and now wanting to ramp it up a bit

Visited Cannock Chase a couple of times - done the blue routes (short and long) which are a doddle but not sure about tackling the red trails on my own.

Best availability is weekdays - not afraid of getting wet!

The reds are not much more difficult, especially the dog, no tough features that are unavoidable, and as well signposted as the blue if not better, only one proper climb and overall a really nice flowy trail. The monkey is a bit tougher ie lots of fun black features you can take on if you want, and a fair bit more climbing but anyone with half reasonable fitness will handle it with ease.

Im hoping to head over that way again soon, when the new bike arrives, pretty long ish drive for me and struggling with time off now, so will either be better for weekendss if thats any good for you?

Would be interested in meeting up with others as I'm new to riding on the Chase.
Generally at the moment I end up on the single tracks around the Visitors centre as the wife takes the kids round on the hard standing.
Available most evenings and occasional Sunday mornings.
