Well it happened today, first time falling off the bike.
Bus had leaked a whole load of diesel before it had decided to break down further up the road. Approaching a mini roundabout on the way out of Sidcup and down I went. Nice bit of road rash and i'm prediciting a sore shoulder. Hole in a brand new pair of bibs - gutted.
Thanks to the very pretty lady who stopped to check I was okay.

    Halfway street, a bus had dumped about 600 metres worth.

    Feel like I'm part of the club now. Was feeling a bit of a fraud after 15 months without an off.

    update

    the driver actually reported the incident to the city of London police, i'm gobsmacked even the claims advisor from BC was a bit surprised.

    I was confused for a moment, then worked it out. You'll be wanting this thread.
    Driver is probably going to try and claim off you for pulling out and damaging his bumper. Or is remarkably honest, although I suspect the former is more likely.
