Embankment Road Report - Tube Strike

I left work at 5pm yesterday and the embankment was absolutely chocca block from the tunnel to westminster...

Debating a different route tonight, would be good if anyone who has ridden it could post a report.

    I can't see any alternative except a steady pootle along the shared use path.

    I didnt say the alternative would be the most direct or cyclist friendly route, but even 50 sets of traffic lights would be better than last night. There are loads of other options.

    The Bank junction is "interesting" on a normal day - it's been chaos the last couple of days.

    I'm all for things that get more people cycling, but the last two days commutes have been horrific. Way too many people with no clue what they're doing on bikes. Just down right dangerous and I'm staggered no-one has been killed.
