Swissstop Yellows, so noisy

So I've just put on some Swissstop yellows for my carbon rims. However the squeal from them is crazy, any users out there can tell me how long they take to bed in?

    They probably need toeing in. I found them too grabby on Campag rims

    Cheers will give that a go although I thought with the Swissstop pads they were slightly concave so automatically toed in if you like.

    Don't suppose you have any tips for removing the yellow residue off the rim surface? I like the braking with them but thinking they may just be a bit too much hassle for what they are worth.

    Scotchbrite scouring pad will remove the residue but be warned there is a good chance the rim will eventually get hard spots where the heat has altered the resin and thus constantly builds up yellow residue and eventually becomes useless.

    Could try Ronson lighter fuel if you don't fancy scouring them.

    Best cure is to use some Black Prince pads, they brake better to

    A scouring pad and a load of washing up liquid and even more elbow grease seems to do the job.

    And after toeing them in they are silent and amazing stopping power, especially when compared with the standard Planet X ones that came with my wheels.

    Jizer will get the yellow stuff off as well.
