Trek madone 5.2 race bike last season, cracked the frame in a crash so now it's my posh winter bike.

  • Looks like someone is going to enjoy their riding this year.

How the hell did you get the addict into your bedroom?
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

  • Very nice bikes, but if you cracked the frame why are you now using it as a winter bike? Has it been repaired?

Cheers, yes sorry forgot to add, the frame has been repaired and is spot on. The repair can just been seen in the pic on the rear chainstay, bikes now fitted with clinchers and cycraguards!

  • I like both of these, especially that Scott. Like all the best bikes, it looks fast as feck even when stationary!

How do the rides compare for both bikes, which do you prefer and why ?

Curious to know because I have the same Madone 5.2

    Any feedback would be welcomed

Prefer the Addict over the madone to be honest, the addict is really stiff and responsive especially with the Enve's on, it climbs really well but is a bit sketchy when cornering on descents, it seems to wonder a little if that makes sense? Don't get me wrong the madone is a great bike and I love riding it! but it's more of a "comfort" bike compared to the Addict. Gutted that I have to give the addict back at the end of the season, I might speak to the shop see if I can buy it :D:D:D

Yeah know what you mean about the graphics, looks loads better with the Enve's on than the clinchers.
