I go through one a year on most bikes...500 to 1000 miles depending on bike, but more so the one I ride through winter gets wrecked quicker!

    Yes!! it should?
  • Kill it with jet washing or sandy or V muddy rides and it will die quick.
Clean it by hand and lube it it, will last lot longer.
Definitely should be changed under warranty unless you brought the bike back neglected and covered in rust/abuse.

Bearings are generally not warranty items.

  • I had a BB30 last 1 ride

IMO, if its not creaking/cracking and the cranks still spin freely, its fine.

the deore bb on my bike has lasted more than 6mths that people was saying that they last so as already mentioned just depends on the riding conditions.
