I suppose Wiggins and Evans don't count any more.

Very interested to see that Nairo Qunitana is currently not pencilled in for either this race,
    or Romandie.
Seems rather that have a warm up race for the Giro, he'll be catching a last minute flight back, again.

Coverage restricted by cash flow to one hour highlights at 17-00BST each evening on Rai Sport 2.

    Well they aren't are they?
They are very good sure but they are not likely to be seriously challenging for the win in a GT this year although I really hope Evans will at the Giro and to be honest he is looking reasonable.

No, he's back in Colombia now. What team list are you looking at, Frenchie? I'm looking at the live race one, and he's not listed. I think Seb Henao was originally down to do it, but he's been replaced by Boswell as from a pic on Twitter yday it looks like Sky have sent Seb to Colombia to keep Sergio company.

Just the steephill one which is not the most reliable it has to be said.
Real shame Henao is still sidelined.

Basso and Evans are two who are definitely looking to perform at this race.

    Also Basso:
"Mount Teide is the best place to get ready for a Grand Tour because of the temperature, the roads, the climbing and the lifestyle," he explained in Tuesday's edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

“The hotel is at 2150 metres and the road peaks at 2300m. Your day is totally dedicated to cycling: breakfast, training, rest, massage, dinner and rest. It's all very disciplined but it has always been worth it considering the results: I was third in the 2009 Giro d'Italia, first in 2010, fifth in 2012."

So Sky are fielding 6 not 8 riders?
With that amount of money they have they should be able to no problem like every other WT team.

Must be fatigue - apparently some guys are tired from Amstel and are being replaced for Fleche.

Started already? And we're not even 3 hours into the race

    JTL sidelined
    Sergio Henao sidelined
Sebastien Henao sent to keep his coz company back in Colombia for a bit
    Stannard crocked
    Sutton crocked
    Dombrowski crocked
    Rasch retired after P-R
Some of the Classics squad being rested for a while, as per most of the other teams' core Classics guys - though if you see Boonen or Cancellara racing over the next 7 days, you be sure to flag it up
Between Fleche Wallonne, LBL and Tour de Romandie, thats another 12 guys accounted for

which leaves...just 6 for this race

Afraid that your-oft-sneered-at budget doesnt prevent guys from getting crocked. Crrraaaazy, I know

Now...any nice pics of Bert? I know he's not racing Trentino, but what the hell

Still not sure why they went into the season with a 27 (26 with Rasch gone) man roster. JTL was obviously unforeseen, but they had these issues last year too. Maybe all teams do.

How does every other WT team manage to field 8 riders?

Poor from Movistar, good from Sky given the number of riders they have. And chapeau to BMC and TNE, although the thought of Evans winning the race makes me want to puke.

Idiot youth on a mtb tried to jump on the tail of the Yellow Fluo team.
    Sky on screen, now.

Terrible coverage of the event, but it doesn't look like.

BMC lost Kohler and Lander (who lost 2.42), NetApp lost Thwaites and SKY lost Boswell.

Did MOV lose anyone? Bit surprised they didnt do better, considering they had Dowsett and Malori

They lost Quintana the younger, that's all. Must have been around halfway since he was 1.45 down.

It was quite a short TTT - only 14km. Long TT specialists like Malori & Dowsett aren't especially useful. On average riders are only doing 2km each on the front in short bursts.
