Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a nicely made, thick canvas toolbag to replace my ageing grubby plastic toolbox.
This contains several workshop tools, so I never take these on my bike- none are longer than 13".

I'm guessing something about 40-45cm long would be ideal.
This may also be used for travel in future, so that's why I'm looking for something lighter than a solid plastic box.

Knowing what's out there, I don't actually have that many specific tools, just the basics, I'd probably be better off with some roll-up kind of bag than a tote style bag (the military ones on ebay look too big).

For my camera bag, I have a lovely Domke bag but it is very expensive for what it is.
My bike tools aren't worth as much. Anyone know if there is something nice out there?

EDIT: I'm fed up with synthetic nylon plastic crap, that's why I'm after something hardwearing but durable, perhaps even washable.

Thanks in advance...
Les.

  • Toolstation sell a range of canvas tool bags from less than £4. I was thinking of getting one myself to tuck away in the camper with essential tools rather than having to lug my big bike toolbox around.
