Took delivery of this little beauty last week...

Awaiting a few more parts (need to decide on stem and bars) mainly hub bearings and rim tape before I start the build.

Possible spec:

Shan Frame (L)
EX721 Rims on Hope Hubs
Formula K18s
RockShox Revelations 150mm
ZEE Mech, Shifter and Cranks
XT Cassette and KMC Chain
Charge Spoon bum seat

Shall post some progress pics if people are interested.

    Lovely frame, I considered one at one point but couldn't justify another bike, nor had the money to buy any more bits than the frame :P Personally I'd love the 917 in the Gulf colours, looks amazing, but the frame appears to look good however you paint it. Hear it rides brilliantly too

    When this came out, boosh!

    Edit: Hub bearings have arrived, that's tonights job and fit the rim tape (if it arrives)

    That's the issue with limited production runs I guess! I found one for £550 for few months back but again, just couldn't justify. Still, as bikes go it's one hell of a looker.
    Out of curiosity, what fork you thinking on it? Pike? 34? Or something different?

    150mm Revelations. :) got them at a bit of a bargain, literally brand new.

    Good man, also realised you posted this at the top, and reading may be worth it next time round ;) I look forward to seeing the finished product, bet it'll ride like a beast

    Bearings changed on the front hub. cant find my adjustable spanner to get the cassette off :(

    i would if yellow was available as a colour option from renthal or superstar :)

    ive gone for dark blue pedal.s probably renthal bars and stem.

    hmm gold seat clamp... hmm...

    It's over £100 cheaper than that

    More bits arrived! Will be ordering bars and stem tonight and it's all go on the weekend hopefully.
    Stripped the rear hope hub and freewheel last night for a rebuild, that's got new bearings and a good clean.

    Decided to go SLX cassette as the extra £15 odd for the XT wasn't really worth a few extra grams.

    Go to sort my brakes out too.. urgh :(
