I tried Holt Tyre Weld (same idea but for cars) it held for a while, maybe four miles, haven't gone back to it or tried Zefal.

I guess it'd be a one off fix for the tube unlike a patch which can be permanent.

I use a new tube and CO2 inflater as I've found glue-less patches fail eventually and can't be waiting ages for a proper repair and spending ages pumping the tyre up. Spare tubes are piling up for when I get around to repairing them all.
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.
  • Says in the blurb that it seals up to a 2mm hole. Wouldn't fix half of the punctures that I have had on my commute.
Personally I'll stick with the spare inner tube, tyre levers and my 'thumbs of steel'.
