Nice stable. The steel 'Nag has the lowest bars of the bunch, otherwise they look relatively equal.

It matters little to their functionality, but black hoods might suit the steel Nag and teh Wilier a bit better. Have you tried to swap them to see what it looks like?

    Cheers folks.

    Re the hoods...

The Master is in a 'Team Leader' style of black saddle/white tape and the gum hoods give it a bit of modern retro look. Check out Beppe Saronni's bike for reference.

The Cento Uno's hoods match the red rear of the Concor Racing saddle. The previous Concor was white with a red back, but I've gone black now and the tape will be going black too - but those red hoods are staying ;-)
  • Lovely bikes, how do you decide which one to ride :D

They all get ridden and they have their own unique feel. The Foil is a rocket, the Cento Uno is a fantastic all-day bike that's brilliant going up and down hills, the Master is a sunny day poser and as I've found out after just a couple of rides the C59 is pretty much cycling perfection. I've also got a Genesis Aether winter bike that needs a clean so it didn't get a photo today

I know I'm a pretty lucky bugg3r to have all of these but they were mostly paid for after having a nasty incident with a car and having my forearm wrecked a few years ago. It's 90% fixed but I've got permanent nerve damage and a large chunk of muscle/tendon missing. I do have a C59 with EPS though

But why does the Master suffer the common old bike disease of the hoods pointing to the sky? I don't get this - people do it so often but it shouldn't be necessary! Your hands and arms aren't pivoted differently just because you are on classic steel framed bike! It looks like the bars have drooped and you've tried to solve the problem by just pulling the levers up.
    Faster than a tent.......

That's a seriously nice collection 8) Might I ask your centre BB to top of saddle measurement on the C59?

    Cheers
  • You can never have enough bikes, the Foil looks superb.

No worries. It's 69 cm from centre to top and I'm 171 cm tall.

Perfect - thanks so much, almost same as me (68cm centre to top and 172cm tall). 48S would be ideal if I ever scratch that itch 8) Great looking build on yours

The Master is very good, but you need to change the angle of those bars a few degrees...

You sir, are a man of very good taste.

I am now trying to work out if I would prefer A Master like that to my arms in their current condition.
