It's a small frame which don't look as good as, say, a 56, but I'll reserve further comments until it's built.

Colnago has a habit of substituting what was chrome in the 80s/90s for carbon black, like PR82. We don't have to be slaves to the past and be 100% identical, but does it really work?

Looking forward to seeing this beauty when it's finished. Not doing my Colnago lust any good at all...

Most of the promo shots are 50s and 52s, that's where they look the best. Some dinky bikes look great though, someone put a Master on here which looked brilliant in a smaller size.

Seeing an AD10 will be quite rare I would think, you've gotta have the perfect storm of traditionalism/flamboyance/quirky-taste to even buy one. I bet it won't be boring to look at that's for sure, and all C59s look way way better in the flesh too, I've never thought the photographs do them justice (some bikes are in fact the opposite, very photogenic but in the flesh nowhere near as nice).

Saw one in the flesh yesterday and it was one amazing looking bike. I would normally go for black bikes but this colour scheme is one I would go for.

Great components but the thick rim wheels don't quite work with the frame for me, from an aesthetic point of view. That said, I'm sure it will ride beautifully. Nice one.

    Beast!

Look us up in 18 months Mark ;-)
  • I'd really like to see this in the flesh.

I was in Strada Cycles last week and they had 2 C59's in INCI. Stunning is an understatement for these.

    Great build, wheels and all.

Was not sure about the bar tape so fitted blue,i could always change it to black if I don't like it.

    Nice frame, wrong bartape IMO.

Highlights the odd shape/position or the bars too.

Looked great before it was taped.

    Such a nice frame...

Looks like an early 90's rave flyer.

    Was that the intention?

I agree with the bar tape comments though. Does nothing for me.

    Congrats anyway

As I said about bar tape I am not sure myself, and I have a spare black in the garage so I might change.
You don't know until you fit the tape.
    Thanks for your comments.

That's a tiny frame, so are you a very short bloke...or a big bloke with short legs?

I bought Mark's last C59 frame so it'll be a 48s (53cm top tube) same size frame ridden by Tommy Voeckler (175cm) and Yukiya Arashiro (170cm) and I'm 171cm :-)

Hmmm, doesn't work for me with these wheels, they just clash in terms of looks and branding style with the frame for me. A little like bunging some porsche wing mirrors on an e-type jag.

Love the frame and colour fades, but some how they don't know when to stop. Rider graphic on top tube looks like a piece of clip art.
