Hi everybody,
I'm looking for some advice. I had a collision few days ago, heads on with a car. I've been to doctors and police and now I'm looking for a cycling savvy solicitor to enquire about possible insurance payout. I phoned Thompsons solicitors and they promised to phone back, but I'm still waiting so I thought maybe finding somebody specialising in cycling might help.
Thanks :)

Ah OK, I thought the same until I signed up with them on their 'Ride' membership (& took out an insurance policy through em)...

Well, I'm sure you've used Google already so I won't suggest that, have you tried searching these forums for threads about legal stuff such as this?

Yes, and in time will probably find something, but for now I only found discussions informing me about everything i did wrong right from the moment I managed to get myself off the street ^^ I hoped that there might be some kind of forum - wide consensus about who to use in these circumstances.
There is address in the sticky about accidents on this sub forum and I'm thinking about that.

obviously i will be looking at membership now :) but seeing that my last RTA was almost two decades ago I think it's a case of crying over spilled milk.

    Update, if anybody is interested
So i spoke with Thompsons and was recomended on g+ community to try Macks. Thompsons want 20% on no win no fee and Macks want 25% but since there is a living person recomending them I asked if they can match me Thompsons offer. Basically it's like mobile plan shopping.

Alyson France/ Bikeline. They advertise in the back of C+. Phone them up and explain the incident. They did good for me, fighting my case when the driver tried every excuse possible to pass the buck onto me.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Camps Solicitors in Liverpool did me proud in an argument with Aviva, they eventually admitted full liability and paid up in full. Also Camps charge their costs to the other side so the fee doesn't come out of the settlement.

BC license and insurance is definitely worth the money.

Looks like a bad crash, glad you are OK.
