Newbie advice needed

Hi there I'm new to the site, haven't had a bike in a few years and I want a half decent hardtail for under the £400 mark. Any suggestions?

  I'd agree on this or perhaps look second hand, you'll get a decent Rockrider or Boardman for that money.
