Did it last year and really enjoyed myself (bit chilly but I think it stayed dry for the whole ride, from memory).

Would have signed up for this year but we were expecting our third baby on the 23rd Feb, so didn't bother.

rode yesterday and once again it was a good event. They had lots of issues trying to find a venue but eventually ran it from their shop which seemed to work absolutely fine.

I always enjoy this event for 2 reasons:

    1. good route that avoids main roads and is clearly created by someone that has local knowledge of all the good local roads rather than some big event company who simply look at a map and dont know where to send riders

    2. mostly smooth roads with virtually no potholes! Every area has the odd rough lane but unlike home the general quality of tarmac is superb!

Thanks to all the team and volunteers who put up with the cold, wind and rain at times.
