Strava question...

Hi folks,

I know that the routes I create in Strava appear in the My Routes section. If I like the look of a ride that somebody else has done, or rides that I have done in the past, can I somehow 'favourite' them so they also appear there? Like the starring of segments appearing in My Segments

I know premium users (and there's also a third party site) can download the rides of others but I was looking for a simple way within Strava of collating routes that I'd like to ride in the future.

Create a segment for the whole ride, mark it as 'Private' and it should then appear in your 'My Segments' tab.

you can only create segments in routes you've ridden ....

I just save them as a bookmark.

Not overly sure but I think you can download other routes if you've gone premium.

Really simple to save other people's rides as GPX files for your own collection, using a tool at RaceShape

So what happens if that person has blocked raceshape on their profile settings?

I'll try the alternatives but it's a shape that you're not able to do so within Strava... a scrapbook of routes, as it were.
