Tour de Langkawi *spoiler*
Gets a better field every year. Very decent teams from Belkin (Bos and Kruijswijk), Orica (Weening, Kruopis), Europcar (Berhane, Kern), and Colombia (Chalapud, Duque). Guardii is there too, but it looks like he has some proper competition for the sprint stages this year.
Climb to Genting Highlands on Sunday.
1st stage yesterday, first win of the year for Colombia with Quintero from a break; Brammeier 2nd

A colombian crossing the line solo with a good salute...always a pleasure.
Matt had some cramp I think.
Guardini led the pack home. 1.18 is a decent gap for Quintero for now but there are a lot of stages and I don't know much about his capabilities as a rider.Contador is the Greatest0 -

You know that this race is like - loads of sprint stages. St 4 in Genting Highlands will sort out the proper time gaps, and suspect he'll be outclassed - he's not one of the best Team Colombia riders. Got lucky today becase the sprinter teams all dicked around and didnt organise a proper chase.0 -

Loving both kits! Colombia been a fav.
Very pleased that Brammeier is still riding and performing. Looked shaky for a while... he always has great Irish national champs kit... was great at OPQS but looking good with Baku too...
See the Belkin sprint train is now underway... is Astana still without a win?0 -

Dammit. The last two from the break held out to the flamme rouge :-( Good work from the Qhubeka rider :-)With 15km to go, only White and Janse Van Rensburg remained from the leading group. They were able to hold off until the final kilometre, before the sprinters and their teams took control.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

I think the look on Brammeier's face makes his feelings on the matter fairly clear. Especially given some of his past views on the Asia Tour.
