So these two are relatively close to me, but I'm not a downhiller. I've tried Antur and loved it (Drafft and Wild Cart, not the blacks) and have bought a full face helmet for my next trip to Antur in April, and I'm thinking of trying either Farmer John's or Dirt Trax. Are these full on gnarr with big drops and jumps for 8" bikes or will I be OK mincing down on my 140mm trail bike? Videos seem to flatten trails so youtube isn't helping me.

Basically a 2ft drop is fine for me and I'll jump on a tabletop but not a double. Am I wasting my time trying these places or will they be OK for me?

Farmer Johns isn't too bad but I think it's only open on race and uplift days. I might be wrong but I don't think you can just turn up and ride.
There's nothing you can't ride on a 140mm trail bike. Downhill bikes will just do it easier and faster.

Farmer John's Facebook page says they are open every day. It's an annual pass or pay on the day.

I was more worried about me than the bike! I might go and have a look soon.
