To be honest it reaches a point where the killerberg and the steepenburg start to merge with the mur de konenberg and the Moor de Chris Hoy.

I just have a look at the last 10km and even then only to see if there's a flat before as otherwise it's all much of a muchness

All bergs look alike to me. Except icebergs. They're different.

Apart from when it's a Spaceman Travelling Travelling on a ship from afar - I suppose someone who writes so many songs has to get lucky once...

Personally I'm wary of them - they have a chequered history

    Presumably you mount them?

Any evidence for that? Go on, lettuce see...
  • Chris Di Berg - that's a berg to be avoid at all costs

Chrisdeberg – considered one of the most gruelling of all the bergs. The best riders will big ring this to escape this section as quickly as possible. The struggling peloton will often be seen riding cheek to cheek but it’s not where you want to be.

I'm not sufficiently au fait with Mr Berg's canon to know if I'm missing a beautiful lyrical mash-up.

  • Can't believe no-one's mentioned the Hindenberg, which as everyone knows is where the most explosive action can be found.
