Use Alien Carbon Question

Use changed the clamp mechanism on their Alien Carbon from 2 bolt to 1 bolt ('Cyclops') a few years ago.

They sell various clamp heads for 7, 8 and 9mm rails.

Does anyone know if the clamp heads are inter-compatible, i.e. will a 8mm Cyclops clamp fit the old style post head.

I see no reason why not, the 'Alien' part of the seatpost head looks the same, but wondered if anyone knew for sure?

    Hi there, I changed from a 2 bolt head to a 1 bolt 3mm one without any problems at all on my use alien seatpost. The clamp heads are interchangeable.
