Changing from 105 to Ultegra

I am swapping over a mates bike from 105 to Ultegra with him at the weekend. Its the first Ultegra groupset I have done.

Is there anything different from the standard 105 I should know about?

    I don't think there is much difference, assuming you are swapping from one to the other of the same year. The cable routing is difference on the newer versions but if your 105 is 5700 and you are moving to 6700 then should be no issues. The triple versions of the front mech are different in that there is a minimum tooth difference between the middle and outer rings which is more critical on the 6703 than on the 5703.

    Isn't the new BB smaller than the old one? But should come with an adapter so you can use your old HT2 BB tool?
