Hi guys,

So I'm having to hand my girlfriend her Defy 3 back soon. So I'll need to use my mountain bike on the turbo. Does anyone know if I can get a turbo tyre for a 29er? or do any road bike tyres fit?

Cheers
Craig
Mountain biking is the bicycle version or rallying, except you don't need a Co-Driver!

  • I used to run a 29er on the road for my commute. Used 700 x 32 road tyres. I would think the standard road bike turbo tyre should fit. You will most likely need a narrower inner tube as im guessing the 29er tube could cater for 2"+ tyre volume.
  • I'm running tubeless but I may try te 32, have also found 42 commuter tyres.

They are only for training and the knobbly tyres go on for race day so it shouldn't be too much of an issue :-)

    Cheers
