Any bike experts know about older freehubs as looking for a replacment one for an old bike (pawls slipping).

Iv'e already tried the different lbs with no luck, none had a clue & about it they were kind of rude & un-interested in even trying to help much. Best guy was actually in halfords who actually make an effort to help. Gave me info on a miche model freehub to look up online but it wasn't the right one from looking at the pictures.

Bike had, miche groupset monolithic crank Ludo stickered frame mavic MA2 rims, 8 speed casette primato stickers on deralier over suntour brand, but the 36h wheel hubs not brand marked.

Freehub body had a miche casette on it that has being changed for a new shimano one so it is a shimano splined compatible one.

Freehub screws into wheels hub & the screw is 20mm diamter thread (see pictures attached). Would really appreciate it if anyone knows what the part is so I can buy a new one if anyone still makes them.

If can't source a replacement will have to buy new rear wheel.

Any ID on the hub? As that is the only thing that matters the rest has zero bearing on the freebody.

Shape of the hub might give a clue if there is no markings.

Also how was the freebody attached? What size(s) and what tool(s) and are there any prts not shown?

No id markings on the hub sorry. Bike was originally from Graham Weigh Cycles over 15ys ago already tried emailing them with no luck.

Can post a side profile pic of wheel hub if that might help?

If you don't get any joy sourcing a new freehub body, you might find that submerging it in warm oil for 30 minutes or so (not hot!) might sort out the sticky pawls.

Looking at the pitch of the thread on that and the one the OP posted, it won't fit. The one from CRC is a much coarser thread.

TBH you are going to have either take the hub into all your LBSs and see if you can find one to fit.
Or get the thread measured diameter, pitch and length. then some one might find a matching one but there are 100s out there.

Not come across a single other 20mm diameter screw type freehub on the 100's of ones looked @ so far online & various lbs yet so seems pretty unique identifier on its own so didn't think thoose other meaurements were needed?

By pitch do you mean the threads per inch (TPI)?

Have a digital caliper but it looks pretty hard to measure?

Info on the different freehub thread sizes:

Probably a Formula or Joytech from Taiwan as they as the biggest OEM hub manufacturers. The problem is that many bike manufacturers buy the parts with no consideration for providing spares in years to come. Dunking in some oil is probably your best bet.
