New winter bike purchased from my LBS at the end of October 2013.

56cm
Full Ultegra except from front mech, brake calipers & chain
Full length mudguards
25mm Conti 4 seasons-superb
Stages Ultegra PM

I've done 1,200 miles on it in just under 3 months and it's been excellent. I was never a Trek fan previously, but this rides really, really well. Will make a good summer bike for longer club runs.

Ride a Scott Foil in decent weather

Nice, is it H2/H3 fit? And you can never go wrong with a Trek mate ;)

It's the H2 fit. It's quite a small 56cm in comparison to my other bike.

I think you have a lovely bike there for winter riding and club runs. I currently have 2 treks (a 2011 2.1 and a 2004 oclv 5500) in addition to my new bike which is not a trek, and I still enjoy riding them all. Hope you continue to enjoy your bike and add lots of miles to it.

I used to think Treks were boring... until I rode one :)

    Glad you're enjoying it.

    Nice bike for the winter...
  • Hi there, I bought the same bike for a winter trainer and initially fitted crud racer long mudguards. The brushes that they hover on though didn't last very long then they soon started to rub on the tyres. I'm interested in the mudguards you have, could you let me know what make they are as apart from Crud racers I'm struggling to find any other guards that can cope with the very little clearance under the forks on this bike? I tried SKS race blades and wasn't impressed with those either. Many thanks in advance.
