Winnats Pass and Cat & Fiddle loops

Hi all

I am going to go to Buxton in a few months with my son for a cycling get away.
I am looking for a couple of 40/50/60 mile road routes that will each take in one of these climbs.

Is anyone able to help please?
It would be greatly appreciated.

    This is one I used as a warm up for the Tour of Flanders, so 3 cobbled climbs and the Macclesfield forest, very nice

    As for Winnats... yeah, hard climb, but busy road, kind of nasty... the climb from Edale to the top of Mam nick is much more pleasant with virtually no traffic... it's longer, it goes up higher, but it's less challenging, although still pretty hard.

    65 miles taking in Winnats. If you want to shorten it when descending the Via Gellia take the left at Grangemill crossroads signed Bakewell and that cuts out the Cromford-Bonsall loop.

    It does have short sections at the start and finish on quite busy roads just to get in and out of Buxton without too much faff. I've never found Winnats uncomfortably busy - possibly in high Summer at the wrong time of day it may be.

    If you want a cafe stop there are options in Longnor, Cromford on the A6 crossroads facing you (a 1 mile detour), or the Woodbine in Hope.

    The classic one is from Macclesfield. They are both very easy, unless it's windy, which can be. From the junction in Macclesfield to the pub at the top it's a 30 minutes climb, give or take
