can somebody please clarify the oil volumes for my forks? they are......

Fox Float - RLC - 150 - 2011 (I think) they are early kashima coated version (pre kashima logo on station)

I have put in 30ml fox green 10wt into each leg before reinstalling black ally nuts and crush washers but now I am struggling to make use of all the travel.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Sounds about right iirc

Define "struggling to make use of all the travel"

Can you compress the fork fully with no air in it?
  • well....

If I let all the air out I can get 140mm travel from the forks standing next to it (With a bit of effort I could probably push this to 145).

    Sounds fine to me
  • Undo the valve top cap where valve to add air is.....You may have got fluid migration into the air chamber. You can check this by letting the air out and taking the top cap off. Saves you taking them all to bits again to check it. However it will be necessary to strip it down if it is the case to replace the piston scraper seal.
