Absolutely nothing bike related. Will be spending some time sat in the pub, getting H'd and rectifying the situation on my new tablet thing.

I'm guessing the dressing gown, slippers and mug are hints that I'm getting old.

Sat in the pub. Snowdon's snow cap visible out 1 window, the sea out the other. Well past Clank'd but not yet H'd. Off shortly to crack open a bottle of Brandy.

Anyone get any decent secret Santa gifts?

Fat face sweat top (handy for skiing), choccy and some cash. Not bad overall. Next year I'll ask for a hit job on the wife, anyone know where I can get one arranged?

I got a powerball off a Reddit secret santa. Not bad at all (though I struggle with it!)

Northwave Celcius winter boots. Just back from a ride and everything is cold and wet apart from my tootsies which are warm and pink. I didnt know you could ride in winter and not end up with blue toes.

I seem to have been luckier than most. Santa brought me a new hardtail frame, which was built up on Christmas Day, ridden on Boxing Day, and cleaned on the 27th. (Charge Duster Skinny if you're interested, built up with new SLX groupset, Crank Bros Cobalt Bars, Stem & Post, hoops are 717 on XT from the shed). She rides lovely - but skinny is right - it's not a frame for pie eaters!

    Here she is:

  • I've not decided yet if I'm going to purchase the Unimog, or the mobile crane with the money I've got left over. One thing is for sure though, legos are awesome.

Have you seen the "mindstorms" stuff. That shlt is CRAZY!

  • I dunno, I reckon the crane is cooler, and apparently it's more complicated, which is nice.
