Hi, Has anyone had any of these and are they o.k? http://www.decathlon.co.uk/cycling-tigh ... 81427.html.
I'm at the point where I have to get something as when Im out on my rides Im freezing in my jeans and I cant really wear my shorts at this time of year.

  • I don't know about that particular pair but I have had a pair of their £20 shorts (which were fine for rides under 30mi), and their £50 shorts (which are just generally fine for everything).

I have a pair of those.

They are decent budget tights, and will keep your legs nice and warm.

The pad isn't the best, but will be OK for rides up to 30 miles or so. Not sure I would want to use them for anything longer.
  • I have a few pairs of their thermal running leggings which i just wear over shorts, might be worth looking at that as an option

  • Thanks for the replies.
I think I need the bib shorts as I cant stand it when that bit on your back gets freezing cold. At least with the bibs you dont get that problem.

Before taking your purchase home take a look at the leg panels in these from Decathlon!
  • Well, I've got a pair and they seem really nice for the money. I've had a quick ride with them on and they are definatley better than jeans which I suspected. Also both legs are the same length, not like above.LOL, that made me laugh.

Yep, they are well worth the money, I rode through 2 winters in them despite having fallen off and them being patched a bit by MrsZippy they were absolutley fine, still going actually but just bought some dhb reflex bibs for the commute so there at the bottom of the basket at the moment I'm sure they'll put in another appearance though
