Just bought one on impulse - well, I'd been faffing for the last two months and when I dropped by the LBS after my ride on Saturday the price had come down further.

    Mrs MM: How much?
    MM: I've just saved £300!

I'm very pleased with it - super smooth compared with my 5-year old alu Giant SCR. I hate the stock tyres (red trimmed basic Schwalbe's), but any other upgrades can wait.

Eric - do the 6700 calipers make much difference?
The stock Focus-branded ones seem to work and look ok, but I have some unused 5700s lying around the garage.

Mad Maix,i never tried the stock focus calipers,as i swapped them over straight away,as i already had some on my old madone

Matt H,i paid in a lot of sweat and effort to get all 14st of me up there from Bourg Du O'sains to take these
