Swapping between campag and shimano freehubs

I currently have Fulcrum Racing 7s which I use on my bike with tiagra. I just purchased some chinese 50mm carbon clinchers with a campag freehub for my bike with chorus. I was hoping to be able to easily swap the campag and shimano freehubs over so I could run whatever wheels I feel like at the time.
However after just removing the freehubs I found that the Fulcrum axel was much thinner than the axel on the carbon wheels (Novatec hubs I think) so I couldn't put the shimano casette on the fulcrum wheels (and vice-versa).
So, I was wondering what my options were. Do I need to buy a new campag freehub, that would fit the fulcrums and a new shimano freehub, that would fit the carbon wheels (and if so which ones?) or is there something I can get that makes this much easier?

Freehub bodies are make-and-model specific. So what you have done is incorrectly assumed that the freehub body on the carbon clinchers would use the same freehub body as your Fulcrum wheels.
If you want to use your Shimano back block on your carbon clinchers you'll need to source the correct Shimano-compatible freehub body for that particular hub. The wheel supplier might be able to send you the exact thing without any investigative effort on your part; otherwise you will have to find out what the make and model is of that hub.
Likewise the Fulcrum wheels; there is probably a Campag-compatible freehub body available for those that is fairly easy to source.- - - - - - - - - -

There is a Fulcrum part number (and a Campag part number) to run Campag on Fulcrum, as Rolf says - you'll need to know the model year, though, as both Fulcrum and Campag have changed some of their cassette bodies for the 2013/14 seasons, so that going forward all Campag wheels (not 100% sure re Fulcrum as there are *some* differences and we don't look after Fulcrum in the UK) will use the same version of the cassette body - the distinction between entry level wheels and high-end wheels has, so far as the cassette body is concerned, fallen away going forwards.
The Novatech hubs, I'd suggest contacting Araine / Riva Sport International as they deal in Novatech hubs.
As another alternative (albeit one that might not give you 100% perfect shifting, but it does work OK in general) you could look at a Shimano-fit, Campag-spaced cassette from Marchisio, also from Ariane / Riva Sport International.

I've got some wheels here (courtesy of Ugo) with Novatec hubs and am just about to do the conversion going the other way - ie taking off a Shimano freehub and fitting a Campag one. I'm building a new bike with Campag Athena so that both bikes have interchangeable parts.
It looks a very simple job for my hubs - which take a Type A Novatec freehub.

To the OP. Freehubs are proprietary parts, you can't take a Novatec one and fit it on your Fulcrum. You need a Fulcrum freehub of the correct flavourleft the forum March 20230
