    can't get on youtube to link to the clip - there is a horrendous cheesy Dutch song called "Schatje mag ik je foto" (Honey, can I take your photo) where at the chorus it appears to be traditional to get up off one's chair and wave it around one's head. It has become a standard on Dutch corners

    No one outside of the Netherlands has any idea why they do this...
