TT bike, HELP!

I've got the chance to buy a nice QR(quintana roo) CD0.1 ultegra from 2010 or a QR Caliente from 2010, both are beatiful, but the CD0.1 is much more aero, but I don't know if it is UCI legal as QR is a Tri bike company, please help! Which one would you recommend or choose?

    The Cd0.1 certainly looks more aero and doesnt look as if it would be within the UCI requirements. But the only time this is going to matter is at national or international level. If your not racing at that level then buy the one you prefer. Frankly i think the caliente looks a better package for time trial anyway

    I ride at National level, it's not the best one level(Peru) but some important international events are in target, I've read that the Cd0.1 is UCI legal in some kind of setup.... What about the caliente and dropbars? Does it would make it as a aero road bike?

    It would be the same again for road race, TT bike wouldnt be allowed in a road race at national/international level.

    I didn't know that, I won't be like a BMC's Time Machine TMR01? It's almost the same with the Time Machine TM01...

    Look similar, constructed for different purposes. Would be a lot easier if you could have one bike for all levels. But at national you will likely need separate bikes for different disciplines, the bike for the correct purpose will be quicker and comfier in a race or TT. ALTHOUGH you could use a road bike with Clip on Bars fitted for time trial and then take them off in a road race. A time trial bike however i dont believe is allowed in a road race, maybe with a lot of modification? Would need someone to clarify that as i cant find any specific rules on the matter

    Thank you a lot! I would buy the Caliente I think, because I wrote to QR and they told that Cd0.1 isn't completly UCI legal and I don't really know what they meant with that. (Sorry for the english)

    I've got a road bike, but it isn't the best one(Trek 1200), a bit heavy but does her work properly :) Thanks!
