This morning I woke up ill for the first time in 5 years. I've forgotten how to act in such circumstances. Can I have the forum's wise counsel, please?

I read that as Manchester The F United.
Therefore the only answer has to be.....
    Moan, whinge, whine.....

Quite funny listening to young Manure glory hunting fans who don't remember what it is like to be shoite.

And thats just the Scottish ones. I dread to think how the Essex ones are reacting!
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

My signature means that I am only in the David Moyes fan club while United are doing shite. If they beat Arsenal I will cut up my imaginary membership card.

You can play it both ways. Pretend to soldier on, playing the martyr. Combing the odd whimper and pained expression for maximum sympathy.

Or moan like f*ck till your sent back to bed :D

Yeah, but I feel rotten - didn't quite catch your meaning at first. The thought of it makes me feel better though. Thanks.

If it makes you feel any better, I did break my leg and dislocate my ankle last year.

My missus reckons I should show more compassion (As well as passion)
Anyway, because of this new me, I need to ask, 'Are you better, poor lamb?'

If you were asleep for five years, then I am not surprised you're feeling a bit peely wally. I don't know how to break this to you gently but you sleep walked in here a few times and spouted all sorts of rubbish.

You should hear the things I say in my sleep. Selected quotes from down the years, according to ex-girlfriends and my wife:

    "Snake!"
"Leave me alone, I'm digging a trench."
"Who are you and what are you doing in my bed?"
"I'm going to kill your sister."
"Don't worry, the daleks will never find us here."
    "F**king hell, I think it's a black mamba!"
"I think my eyeballs have exploded."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" - loud enough to wake the whole house up.
