Me & some riding buddies are thinking about doing the Manx end2end ride next year, has anyone on here done it? Recommend it? Any info/advice on accommodation, etc?

Many thanks :D

  • Done it 3 times, just think of it as a 30+ mile ride in big hills over 3 passes and a bitch of a hill to finish and with a thousand+ other riders.

If you're not after a podium place just go for the ride and enjoy it.

The ferry from Heysham means 2 less nights on the island than from Liverpool. As long as you can get to the 7pm ferry on the Sunday.

Therefore, go from Liverpool on the Mannanan.
Don't come back accross to the UK straight after the race on the Sunday, you'll be a) knackered and b) supping a lot of Bushy's beer
