Me & some riding buddies are thinking about doing the Manx end2end ride next year, has anyone on here done it? Recommend it? Any info/advice on accommodation,etc?

Done it 3 times, just think of it as a 30+ mile ride in big hills over 3 passes and a bitch of a hill to finish and with a thousand+ other riders.
If you're not after a podium place just go for the ride and enjoy it.
The ferry from Heysham means 2 less nights on the island than from Liverpool. As long as you can get to the 7pm ferry on the Sunday.0 -

Therefore, go from Liverpool on the Mannanan.
Don't come back accross to the UK straight after the race on the Sunday, you'll be a) knackered and b) supping a lot of Bushy's beer0
