    Depends on the genre.
    I think.
I have lots that I keep meaning to sell.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Not sure if 'That's What I Call Bagpipes 1846' was what he had in mind :P

  • Indie - 90s onwards. Must be new as its a present for someone.

Maybe a bit of Bristol (Portishead, etc), maybe some Roses, that sort of stuff.

    Any ideas?

Rock Box in Camberley do a good online range. Boomkat do more esoteric stuff. A lot of new vinyl comes with afree CD or download (eg the Bowie album)
  • Brilliant stuff - thank you very much.

Yep, Amazon tends to be easy, but I'm trying to wean myself off and support some more local or specialist shops and websites. Autorip is hard to resist though.
  • To tell the truth, I never even thought of Amazon - wood for trees?

It's usually the other way round.

I can remember 1 and 2, in fact I bought NTWICM2 on vinyl - I feel slightly older.

On the positive side, that record introduced me to The Smiths, so I'll be eternally grateful just for that.

Thanks for the link. Wife's Xmas pressie sorted.
Though TBH, if I mentioned getting her something in vinyl, she would be thinking new kitchen floor.
