probably a noobie thing, but when I get the pressure right in the front fork, I then remove the Pump the air comes out, as it should for a split second when unscrewing.

whats the rule of thumb, pop more in than you need and hope you get it right ?

thanks

Nope that is coming out of the pump and tube when you disconnect, not the shock. It's normal and doesn't affect the shock pressure.
When you reconnect the pump it will charge with air from the shock and then the pressure will drop so just get it right and leave it.

Im using a fox shock pump which when I attach it I would have though it would read whats pressure is in the shock but it doesn't, it only reads when im pumping.
