I am lucky enough to be going to Calpe this winter and plan on training for a couple of weeks.
Has anyone got any advice on clubs/teams/routes etc?

Calpe - Teulada - 741/745 Benissa - 749 that loops round to Xalo - 748 Gata - Calpe
Calpe - Jesus Pobre - 732 Pedreguer - 720 Parcent - 715 Callosa - 755 Altea la Vella - Calle Principal de la Sierra to avoid Altea - Calpe
You'll love riding out there, the roads and scenery are stunning and the drivers are very considerate.0 -
Quite a few pro teams go to Calpe for winter training. If you ride up the nearby Coll de Rates you can use the special timing stations to log your time. Be careful though, Allesandro Ballan crashed on the descent and ended up in intensive care!0

Head up into the Xalon valley - superb for cycling. Good climb up to the tourist village of Guadelest.
In Calpe for a few days on Wednesday - cannot take the bike though
