Just taken delivery of a new CCDB Air CS, rides great but when you push the bike down its very soft initially for 15-20% of the stroke then hits a step and gets much harder, doesn't feel right having a noticeable step like this in the damping, anyone else felt this?
Just asking this question as I had a fox ctd shock that had the same characteristics and ended up needing new boost valve etc.

Does it have some sort of pedalling platform or compression adjustment you can play with?
I'm not familiar with the shock but I don't think it should have a step. Its normal for shocks to get progressively harder but not like a step.0
