Don't drive so wondering how the hell to get from Carlisle to keswick with a bike can't really find anything on Google ( piece of useless shit) asked train times, comes up with trainline. trainline then says no train station in Keswick very helpful indeed... Help please!

Trainline may not be 'heping' you but it does appear to be correct.

Nearest station to Keswick is Penrith.

No bike bus from Penrith to Keswick or anything though and pedalling my full sus would be out the question.

Nearest station to Whinlatter is Aspatria I think but its still 15 miles or so. This might be your best option for getting to some good riding http://www.golakes.co.uk/travel/New-Bike-Bus.aspx

Get the train to Stavely or Windermere. Some excellent riding from these two stations
