Garmin 510 touch screen

Looking to buy myself a Garmin to haul myself through a tough winter's training. However, which one I go for (currently a toss up between the 500 and the 510) depends on how well the touchscreen works whilst wearing gloves. Can anyone shed any light onto the situation for me?

You are corrected, the Edge series touchscreens works well even with gloves on.
