Just a warning guys, if anyone is thinking of going in by tube it looks like quite a few of the lines are closed this weekend:

Kind of a spoiler in the fact it has spoilt my plan of parking at Newbury Park and training it in!

I'm on the start finish straight. Hup Hup Hup man is right in front of me. If someone can give me a good alibi I'll take him out so you don't have to listen to him in the background on Eurosport!

I'll say I saw you with a wild boar on the road from Montecatini Terme to Firenze frantically cheering on the men in the TTT.

That'll do, it's on! To be fair he seems alright apart from the Hup Hup hupping . He has got red trousers on though...

Just had the Gentlemans time trial. Getting quite busy here

He's Dutch then. Or very posh.

In that case "Paul 8v" won't need the alibi if you can shut him up. ??

Wiggo just seems to be having a chat in the middle of the peloto whenever he comes past. Some confusion over the intermediate sprints as a member of the crowd let off a claxon!

Williams likely to be relegated after a pointless push.
  • Well the little push last time around has made this next sprint exciting.

    High tide in London today.

Hugh Porter can't recognise teams anymore, let alone individual riders.

He'll only mention Cav with a lap to go anyway.

    Cav with ease.

Petacchi and Cav look a nice combo already. Though admittedly not against the greatest of competition.

    Nice statement from Bennett again.

well at least we wont need to listen to porter creaming his pants for another year.
  • Bennett not short of some aggression

Looks like OPQS have the makings of a sprint train again. Agree there wasn't much opposition there but that was a good lead out.

Yeh, Petacchi is pretty important to Cavendish.

Good finish again from Viviani, once again faster than the rest, just he starts too far back - probably could do with someone like Petacchi helping him be farther forward earlier.

Well, if he doesn't get relegated he needs to be grateful to Scott Thwaites who stepped in with a great lead out on the final sprint, when Sigma could not hold the pace. I guess loyalty to a mate you share a café with is important. :D

  • High tide in London today.

Standing on the Embankment on a spring high tide and seeing the water on the other side not being much lower than your feet, which are not that much lower than the entry to some tubes makes you realise how real the need for the Thames Barrier is.

I'm sure they let the fizz out of Madraso's bottle. Cav's was a lot fizzier.

    Good results for Brits.
