Hi all,

After reading this forum for the last year I thought it was time to sign up.
This is my 2011 Forme Rapide. She's my first road bike. She was cheap to buy but I love her!

This picture shows the day I got it!

And this is my bike now. Still needs a few more mods but I am really liking her new look.

I've made the following upgrades;
Wheels: Shimano R501 30mm rims
Cassette: Sram PG850 12/23
Tyres: Vittoria Rubino Pro 3 23mm
Bars: Ritchey WCS Logic II 42cm
Stem Ritchey WCS 4 Axis 120mm
Saddle: Specialized Romin Expert 143
Bar Tape: Fizik Superlight Classic (with Cinelli bar gels)

Now thinking of going carbon with the stem and seatpost and upgrade the brakes. But personally I think she looks nice and rides very nicely.

    Thought you might have gone for the white RS30's over the R501's But still, good work fella.

    Thanks for the praise. Yeah, thought about the RS30's but picked up the R501's for £78 new.
    I also felt a bit safer with the higher spoke count as I'm 6'3 and 215 lbs. These seem bombproof.
    The bike was £380 new and all the upgrades amount to about £150. So all in all she's has been a bargain.

    New mod to my Forme;
    Stem - Deda Zero 100 110mm
    Post - Deda RS01
    Tyres - Vittoria Rubino Pro 25mm

    The new tyres run like a dream and seem to be a much smoother, faster ride for my build. Now comes the expensive upgrades i.e the groupset. Although I do have my eye on a new Trek but still in negotiations :D

    I have a Forme as a second bike back in the UK (I live in Canada now). They're brilliant bikes, I like it much more than what I ride now. They're very rider friendly and look great.

    Yours is nice.
