Pity, but it would have been a slog and no mistake.

Looking to reschedule for "....autumn or spring."

Disappointed I must say but a sensible decison nevertheless. Weather is due to be biblically appalling!

    i think many people are going to do it tomorrow, me included, weather permitting

    although the buttermere triathlon, which is on tomorrow, covers some of the same ground.

    I think it was a sensible decision. Last years was as wet and Honister was worse than for the pros on monday. But this year there was a forecast for pretty strong winds as well - 20mph+ in the valleys would mean gusts way above that on the higher ground.
    Postponing for further in the future is probably a good idea as well - gives everyone plenty of notice to get the weekend free.

    Entries will re-open once the new date is announced. So if you're wondering what to do early in the season next year, get signed up. Its a cracking ride with a route for every ability. I'm considering adding my 5 year old to the entry for the family ride/treasure hunt seeing as she's learnt to ride in the last month.
