Hi Guys,

Yesterday I went to get my Cannondale Flash 29Er Alloy 2 and today after the first trial ride of 10 miles… I found out that the only thing that is not fit is something that stays on top of the saddle!

Here are some pics of it:

Cheers!

VERY nice, love Cannondale bikes. This looks great!
  • Always had a thing for 'dales especially with a lefty fitted. Funny thing is I've never owned one!!! Specialised, Kona, Cove & now I'm riding a Charge Cooker. Might be time to treat myself to a 40th birthday present..............

Nice! I've the same bike which i love, So bloody quick :D - How did you set the rims up tubeless ??

Ive tried everything but cant for the life of me get them to go tubeless.

Was going to get some crests but if i can get these tubeless i wont bother....I noticed they came pre fitted with stans tape but after reading over various forums some say its possible others not :?

Im guessing you have the same rims as mine , sunridge inferno 25's?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Well I didn't had a scale to weight the bike, nevertheless just bought a baggage scale at the airport (not to weight my luggage as I don’t worry about that, but to weight the bike  ) and I will weight it once I get home…

So, I will be telling you about it’s weight soon!

    Cheers!

    Hi,

I am just going to put the answer I've sent you earlier as it might help others…
Yes, our bikes have the same rims/wheels and… Well I used another tubeless tape on top of the one pre-fitted, but I don’t believe to be necessary as the tape is to avoid the air to go out through the nipples.

In reality it took me a bit time to get them inflated as I wasn’t even managing to inflate them, but then I thought that I needed to use more water with soap… and I did, I put a lot of fairy on a sponge and I rubbed it (after the tyre fitted) in the rim… I inflated the tyre and immediately got inflated without issues. So in my case the “secret” was to put a lot more foam.

In any case I already used both the original tyres and the Schwalbe Rocket Ron Kevlar 29 x 2,25" 'Cube-Edition, and both worked.

    Hope that it helps!

    Cheers.

    Hi,

Additionally to the changes already made I’ve changed the saddle, seatpost, cassette and handlebar for these ones:

Selle Italia SLR XC Flow Saddle
Truvativ Noir T40 Flat Bars 2013
SRAM PG1070 10 Speed MTB Cassette
Titanium seat post (from Amazon by Lancer)

With these changes I won around 600gr…

So now the bike weights 10.8 kg… Nevertheless (call me nut or whatever) but I want to get the bike under 10kg… Probably the next thing to be changed are the wheels or the stem. Any suggestion?

    Cheers
