Ghost shifting - only when wet ?

I re-indexed my gears a few weeks ago and they were working perfectly until yesterday.

It was pissing down yesterday and I noticed a lot of ghost shifting on the rear derailleur. This happened going up in gear and down...

I was going to re-index them again, but I went out on it today and the gears are working perfectly again... very odd.

Is there any reason why I'm getting ghost shifting but only when it's wet ? ( cables were clean with no stones or sh!t clogging them up )..

Cheers

    Must've been something like that..

Cheers for the reply cooldad, I'll keep an eye on it next time it rains and check the chain/cassette to see if that's what's going on..
